About Us Since Atonn and Jodie were both vocal performance majors, it was required that every other Friday the voice studio students got together and performed for each other in a seminar.  This was the first seminar of the academic year, and Jodie’s friend Justin was graduating this semester, so he told her to dress up so they could take pictures together.   Jodie got off of work for the hour so that she could do this and watch Atonn perform for the seminar.   He was the last one on the program, and he started to sing “If Ever I Would Leave You” from Camelot.   The room was packed, and Jodie didn’t think anything of it because it was the first seminar of the year.   In the middle of his song, Atonn came over to her and pulled her up with him to the front.   Jodie was a little embarrassed, but went with it because she thought he was acting (still had no idea this was a proposal).   He got down on one knee and finished the song (she was still clueless).   After a dramatic pause, he pulls out a box with the engagement ring in it.  Everyone erupted into applause in the room, and Jodie couldn’t control her tears.   Jodie mumbled “yes” without him even asking, and after he put the ring on her finger, he had guys from his fraternity (Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia) come up and serenade her with “Serenade to a Girl”.   Their friend John is also seen giving Jodie a dozen roses near the middle of the song.   All of this happened the day before Jodie’s birthday, on September 2, 2005.   It was a wonderful moment in their lives together that neither of them will ever forget. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ See the proposal here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS101gxhpmI ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
